Summary Sindh government immediately banned new computerized arms licences, exempting licences approved by competent authorities and informing senior administrative and police officials.
KARACHI (Web Desk) - The Sindh government has imposed a complete ban on the issuance of new computerized arms licences across the province.
According to a notification issued by the Home Department, the ban has taken immediate effect and will remain in force until further orders.
The notification stated that licences granted exemption with the approval of the competent authority will remain exempt from the ban.
The Home Department has also sent the notification to all commissioners, deputy commissioners and police officers.
