Summary Energy Minister Eli Cohen said Israel would strike Iran again if Tehran moved to develop nuclear weapons or ballistic missiles
TEL AVIV (Dunya News) - Israel has once again threatened to launch attacks against Iran if Tehran resumes efforts to develop nuclear weapons or ballistic missiles, according to Arab media reports.
Israeli Energy Minister Eli Cohen, speaking in an interview with Israeli media, said Israel would strike Iran again if Tehran moved to develop nuclear weapons or ballistic missiles.
He warned that any attempt by Iran to restart its nuclear programme would trigger another Israeli attack.
The Israeli minister also claimed that Iran would have obtained nuclear weapons if Israel had not launched its previous strikes.

He said the attacks by the United States and Israel had set Iran’s nuclear programme back by two to four years.
The remarks come after the United States and Israel launched attacks on Iran on February 28, 2026.
The strikes killed Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, along with several senior Iranian generals.
