Summary Karachi may receive thunderstorms and light rain from September 14 to 16 as a low-pressure system moves westward, bringing unsettled weather.
KARACHI (Web Desk) - The Meteorological Department has forecast light rain with thunderstorms in Karachi from September 14 to 16.
According to the Met Department, a low-pressure system is currently present over the northwestern Bay of Bengal and coastal areas of Odisha. The system is located over Chhattisgarh and adjoining areas and is likely to move westward.
The department said strong winds, thunderstorms and intermittent rain may occur from tomorrow evening until September 16 in Tharparkar, Umerkot, Mirpurkhas, Badin, Thatta, Sujawal and Tando Muhammad Khan.
Rain accompanied by strong winds is also expected from September 14 to 16 in Sanghar, Khairpur, Hyderabad, Tando Allahyar, Matiari, Shaheed Benazirabad and Jamshoro.
The Met Department has also forecast light rain with thunderstorms in Karachi from September 14 to 16.
Meanwhile, the weather in Karachi is expected to remain hot and humid today and tomorrow, with the maximum temperature likely to range between 36 and 37 degrees Celsius.
