Deepika and Ranveer announced the happy news through a joint Instagram post on September 19, sharing a picture of their newborn’s tiny footprint. The announcement card carried the message “Welcome Baby Girl” along with the date September 19, 2026, and the names Dua, Deepika and Ranveer.
The couple’s friends from the film industry and fans quickly congratulated them and expressed their good wishes following the announcement.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tied the knot in 2018. They welcomed their first daughter, Dua, on September 8, 2024.
The couple had announced their second pregnancy in April 2026. Ahead of the birth, they also shared maternity photographs featuring Deepika, Ranveer and their daughter Dua.
The name of their newborn daughter has not yet been announced publicly.
