Summary PSX recovered on Tuesday after previous session losses, with the KSE-100 Index gaining 412.79 points, or 0.23%, to reach 177,388.46 points in early trading.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) recovered in Tuesday’s trading session after suffering losses a day earlier.

The benchmark KSE-100 Index gained 412.79 points, or 0.23%, to reach 177,388.46 points.

The index opened for trading after closing at 176,975.67 points in the previous session. During the ongoing session, the KSE-100 touched a high of 177,800.28 points and a low of 177,343.54 points.

Trading activity remained strong, with 93.97 million shares changing hands so far.

A day earlier, the benchmark KSE-100 Index had turned bearish, shedding 720.83 points, or 0.41%, to close at 176,975.68 points, compared with 177,696.51 points recorded in the previous trading session.

The ready market recorded trading volume of 937.270 million shares on Monday, up from 658.327 million shares in the previous session. The traded value also increased to Rs39.134 billion from Rs31.454 billion.

Meanwhile, the market capitalisation declined to Rs19.830 trillion on Monday from Rs19.885 trillion a day earlier.
